The Miss Native Mesa Community College Pageant will determine the college’s next Native American student ambassador on Nov. 21, a position that comes with an increased number of responsibilities since years past.

MCCCD employees organize drag show to raise scholarship funds

Employees of Maricopa County Community College District would soon host the third annual PRISM Drag Ball at Phoenix College, all in effort to raise money for a scholarship that supports LGBTQ+ students.

The American Indian Institute hosted Mesa Community College’s third annual Orange Shirt Day event and the campus’s inaugural open mic, on Sept. 30 in the Navajo Room.

Mesa College Promise starts fourth year of free college for eligible city residents

Over 300 new Mesa Community College students joined the Mesa College Promise program for its fourth consecutive year, a nearly 50% increase from 2023, according to a MCC news release.


The Mesa College Promise is offered at MCC and brings two years worth of fully funded tuition and fees to all eligible full-time students, even if they use resources like FAFSA or scholarships, as stated on the MCC website.
